To be fair, the body and movement animation is really faithful to the comic. Tin Tin punches like he does in the comics.

Yeah, I didn't mean to just hate on it, there are some really nice things going on there. The renders are gorgeous and the movement seems much better than stuff I've seen from other mo-cap movies. My main disappointment comes from the Character design.

Imagine this plot, these renders, etc, but with a simple elegant design to the characters.

But I fear I'm continuing to take this off topic. I just saw Tangled a few nights ago. And say what you think about the premise or the whole Disney princess phenomenon. But this movie was great. It was Disney animation, design, look, most everything, translated in to 3d nearly perfect. I think if they had just slapped a Pixar logo on it, even if they didn't actually work on it, it would have done even better than it already did.

I've read the book multiple times, but never saw the movie. I did see the sequel though. *shudders*

It's like a more morbid, less saccharine version of a Disney film. Somehow adorable and bleak at the same time. I recommend it.

I always loved it as a kid.

I haven't seen it in years, but I'm sure I'd still like it now. Its a good movie. I enjoyed the book too, the one time I read it years and years ago.

That movie creeped me out as a kid. I read all the books latter and liked them though. Man, I haven't thought about the secret of nimh in ages.

I liked An American Tail Better. Another Don Bluth mouse film, but with only a slightly creepy edge.

Come to think of it I think about every Don Bluth film has a little bit of creepiness to it. That and several horrendous direct to vhs/dvd sequels that he wasn't involved with.

Did anyone here play the original, arcade version of Dragon's Lair? I don't think I'll even touch the console versions, though....
