I'm looking for a high res cover scan of the Playstation 3 game: Cars Mater-National Championships & Sega Rally REVO.
The local game store requires a cover for trade-ins. I can't seem to find a decent high res cover to print. If anyone has these game and can scan the cover I'd really appreciate it.
Sega Rally I'm going to keep. So It'd be nice to get a label for it. I think I could put together a decent label from that scan. Thanks.
I use the cover project all the time and I will some times make my own for saturn and genesis games. For the CARS game I couldn't find anything to even piece a cover together that was printable.
It's kind of amazing how small the PS3 cover selection is on that cover project site but you can find just about every genesis game.
Anyways, trade credit is usually crap but I buy so much there it can be worth it. I think for 5 pretty so-so PS3 games they gave me $30-40 in trade credit?

Isn't that a really cheeky thing to do? I know if I were to get a game second hand, I'd want everything that came with it to be the official printing.

I guess so? Going to a store like gamestop and you don't even get the courtesy of a reprinted cover. Just their ho-hum cover with some guys writing on it.
I think I do a decent job of the reprints, going to a copy store and getting a slightly higher weight paper to closer match the standard cover. Haven't quite found the right weight.. I'm thinking a 30 would be perfect.
Just to note when I sell anything with a reprinted cover to a person I let them know it has a reproduction cover.

Also, +1 on the use of the word Cheeky.
Yeah, fair point on game stores with generic covers. I suppose it's not nearly as devious as I had assumed since you tell people when the cover is of your own printing.
I've seen some pretty crappy printed covers in used game shops before. And by that, I mean HORRIFIC quality (like a cheap Wal Mart printer that's running out of ink). As long as the cover you print is decent, as a buyer I'd appreciate the effort. I've bought disc-only games before, which I have to print a cover for, so you'd save me a step!

And thanks! I try.
The store I trade in at was actually printing covers when they opened but extremely poorly. Eventually it got too costly for the store to find and print covers and put a policy in place to not accept ANY disc only games. Which is smart I guess, prevents acquiring stolen goods or spending funds on cases.
I know collectors want games in original condition. I've had a few people so far not want my copy of Phantasy Star IV because it has a reprinted cover. I'm overly honest in reporting condition of items as I would expect others to be.

I'll have to post a picture of some of my prints versus originals. Initially I was using it for cases for Saturn and Sega CD games when storing them in DVD cases. Looks pretty good on disc only games.
