Still pretty dang close to the truth, although I think they revealed a certain characters past earlier than they did. Doesn't really mess anything up though.

Yeah, I haven't read the books, so I am feeling punched in the gut/kicked in the head after just finishing the new episode before making that last post. I even thought I might tear up for a second there! This series is SO fucking awesome, and the writing, pacing, and general directing are brilliant. One need only look at that last scene for proof!

Yes, this series has ruined television. It's so far ahead of anything else out there that everything else looks like garbage by its side.

I haven't read the books either, but I love the fact that this story does what it wants, and nothing you would expect.

I am totally obsessed with this show.

The great thing is, this is probably the most true-to-book series I have ever seen. I am glad to know that it is hitting people watching the show the same way it hit me reading the book.

The craziest thing is, this is only book 1. It gets so fucking nuts. I don't think a writer has ever made me hate so many characters so well. Damn Cersei, and damn Joffery even more!

There are really no holds in this series. Anything can happen.
