Whoa whoa, wait - did you get all those games for $2 a piece, or $2 got you the whole set?
Because holy f'ing crap if $2 got you the whole set.

That would just be silly, they were $2.00 each.the7k wrote:Whoa whoa, wait - did you get all those games for $2 a piece, or $2 got you the whole set?

Local thrift store. And so you get an idea how schizophrenic their pricing can be I also saw an NES for $50.00 and some PS2 games like Bratz, Madden 06 and Cars at $20.00.CRTGAMER wrote:![]()

At Salvation Army today, I got 2 first-party SNES controllers for $1 a piece. Plus I got 5 strategy guides for 25 cents a piece, one the better ones being a Banjo Kazooie guide. I also saw Flight Simulator 98 in really good condition, in the old big paper box, but I refrained from taking it since I already have that game. A good raid for me.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Went to Salvation Army Monday and found 2 Sega Game Gears for $10 each and the old original Gameboy for $6, so I asked when the next half price sale was going to be, turns out it was going to be Tuesday so I went back and got all of the above for $13!
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Struck out at two pawn shops, I swear they are pricing like Gamestop around here. However, Goodwill was a Genesis gold mine.
$1.99 each
Alisia Dragoon
Chakan (never heard of this one, but the guy on the cover is dual wielding swords, has a wooden stake, and looks to be a reject from the cover of a Megadeth album, for $2, why not)
Eternal Champions
Star Trek:TNG Echoes From the Past
Vectorman 2
X-Men
A Game Genie
Also at KARM for $1.99: NFL 2K1.
There were some boxed Odyssey 2 games as well, sports and Pick Axe Pete. I didn't inquire about those, may check when I make my next rounds.

You can hear me talk to one of the creators of this game in the second part of Racketboy Podcast #5 - http://www.racketboy.com/podcast/2010/0 ... s-pt2.html.Eskimo wrote: Chakan (never heard of this one, but the guy on the cover is dual wielding swords, has a wooden stake, and looks to be a reject from the cover of a Megadeth album, for $2, why not)
It looks better than it plays, but is still worth a go.

I remember a Chakan being canceled on Dreamcast. So the one on Genesis was a prequel to this?...
