I have met the man personally, and was very impressed with him. I purchased over 800 dollars of stuff from him in PRISTINE shape. I got my neo geo, turbo grafx 16, colecovision, and intellivion from him over the years. A great guy. Tell him "Alex from Texas" referred you

YES! I have spent probably over $1000 from him before. He is 100% legit. He doesn't have everything, but it is surprising what he does have and the volume he has it in. If it was the feedback thread, he'd be getting a + from me easily.

As for what has eluded me... I've never come across a Jaguar CD console, or a base Jaguar for a price low enough for me to consider it. I almost bought one once, but got screwed over after paying for it. I got refunded, but I wanted the Jag lot that I'd paid for!

Another thing I've never found that I've kind of wanted was an FM Towns Marty. I haven't actively looked for one, but I am kind of disappointed I haven't run into one in the wild.

That's about it. I can't think of any games I've wanted that I couldn't find, other than some of them being too expensive for me (I do not feel like paying over $100 for Sega CD Snatcher or double that for the English version of Panzar Dragoon Saga!). Japan was AWESOME for finding everything I couldn't score in North America.

Finding US copies of some of the RPGs I like... not so easy. It took me a few years to find a copy of Sega CD Lunar 2. I started looking in 1995, and never actually found a copy until 2000. On the other hand, I've gone through a few copies of Earthbound. ALL of them hand-me-downs from friends who'd moved on to PS1 or PS2. ALL free.

I usually just shoot him an email whenever I have some free green and see if he can find it. I'm sure he can find you a cheap jaguar. I want to mention also, he would not let me purchase the wheel for colecovision because it was not 100% working. That is why I will keep going to him for old school stuff, he has decency.

His name is Mike by the way, really nice guy

I'm still waiting to embark on the weird, albeit underwhelming 64DD bandwagon (sevin?) No games or systems have really eluded me, it's just a matter of how retarded I let my spending get for the month. That said, SNK hardware isn't in the cards at this time :P

Sometimes I think of getting a Saturn since I have a Genesis and Dreamcast, it just feels right to have the one released inbetween the two. But I have no idea what games I would get. I've heard that the best ones cost lots of $$$ so it sounds like an expensive console to collect for.

He's also a great buyer as well if you've ever got a lot of something to sell and it might be impractical going the traditional routes of eBay or forums. I've purchased once or twice as well. Every order is handled individually and on a package shipped to Korea I paid exact postage. Very satisfied.

A f'n Neo Geo. I have been looking for several years and never pulled the trigger on one. I missed out on a couple of OK deals in the process.

WOW, you guys must really hate people like me. I grew up in a magical land where I have been able to complete my hardware collection for relatively cheap. I was buying most at flea markets and garage sales. For the ultra hard to find ones, I had to turn to ebay and still got a great deal on them.

There used to be some fine collectors shops with reasonable prices. Now the closest one to me is 35 miles away and they want the real collectors price on all of it! The good news is, I already own a vast majority of it all.

Who wanted a SEGA Master? I can get one but its got a damaged casing. (send me a PM)
Check out my Trade thread!

I recently picked a saturn in a bundle of misc game stuff. I didn't really want to collect for it but figured I might as well...I'll tell you that Saturn stuff seems to command a premium now. Doesn't seem to matter what the game is people want top dollar especially if its got the original box.

So, unless your area has a lot of Saturn stuff showing up you may want to put the collection on the back burner.. :?

Yeah thats what I've heard about it, especially the original case thing. I haven't seen any Saturn stuff around in about a year so I think I'd rather just pass on it for the time being.
