sonic characters

If you ask me though, they should remove all sonic characters other than:
Sonic
Tails
Knuckles
Shadow
Blaze
Silver
Dr. Robotnik

Why keep Blaze, Shadow, and Silver? What do they add to the game?

Also, who the heck IS Silver?

first off (shadow is badass, he adds an adult element to the game) blaze has neat powers and i loved playin as her in the DS game as for silver he is the new guy in the recent disappointment in the series and was the only character that was decently fun to play as. (he has telekenetic abilitys) this is my opinion so dont act all like "you sux, you stupids, sonic is only good character blah blah blah"

I respect your opinion...however I happen to be one of those people who thought all the additions except for Knuckles were stupid. Yeah that's right. I've always hated Tails.

Shadow is a badass? NO. Sonic is the badass. He is the dude with the 'tude. Sega forgot that.

If they want to make a side series of games where you have to play as other characters, fine. I don't want to compare it to Mario, but how much time do you spend playing as other characters in Mario64, Sunshine and Galaxy?

none i guess, i never liked tails that much either but since i never was forced to pay attention to him in the games other than the recent ones, i was ok with it. Also i agree, spinoffs would be fine like Shadow the Hedghog (PS2) and Tails Adventures (GG). I really wish they would keep the 3D graphics but make it more like the 2D games like a rollercoaster in speed and all.

Sonic, Knuckles, Amy (maybe), Tails, Princess Sally and possibly the other freedom fighters, Dr Robotnic (eggman), knuckles Chaotix chars and get rid of the rest. Back to basics eh?

I played Sonic Rivals 2 the other day on the psp, and got to see Silver - all I have to say, ugly. The character design was just shitty.

I pretty much agree with you but I think tails is ok. I just want the essential 4 characters minus voices. Does Knuckles really need to be black? Does Sonic have to sound like a piece of shit? Does Tails have to be... well you know.
