I'm pretty into this one now as well
Re: Game of Thrones: New HBO Series
I hate Jason Momoa. He is a horrible actor and I am fairly pissed that he will be playing Conan.
That said, I do not read series that take multi-volume 1000 page tomes to tell a tale. So I am not familiar with this story though I am familiar with GRRM's short stories from the 70's. I am much more a fan of the short story or the couple hundred page novel that used to be released by the likes of DAW.

They introduced Hodor! And Gregor! So far, still quite true to the book. I am loving it.
I cant wait for them to get to the 3rd and 4th books. Crazyness

I think they have done a good job so far. Nothing has been changed too much. The character that plays Tyrion should win an emmy.
Thanks everyone...

Re: Game of Thrones: New HBO Series
I keep hearing how great HBO is and this series has just started so I can watch it without having to do a lot of catching up
I'm wondering, is it worth it to switch from Showtime to HBO? Is it going to raise my monthly bill?
I don't really watch anything on Showtime. I wanted to starting watching Dexter but the show is so many seasons long now I'm not going to even bother. I'd have to buy all the dvds just to get caught up

They are still getting your toes wet, the book series took a lot of time to gain momentum

Oooh man, I didn't get to watch it last night. Gotta go watch it tonight. I really hope certain things happen to certain Targaryn assholes.dsheinem wrote:last night's episode:![]()

They are definitely adding things that weren't in the series, but so far it is still pretty solid
Re: Game of Thrones: New HBO Series
What part of the first novel is the series up to?
