BurningDoom's Game Collection COMPLETELY NEW & UPDATED 7-30

Post by BurningDoom »

Here's up-to-date pics of my Gaming Collection. My collection is not as impressive as some, but I feel I have more than the average gamer, at least.

There's a lot of pics here, so be forewarned:

My Console set-up:

Image

Consoles:

ImageImage

The one that says "Wonder Wizard" with the old-school phone-cord, is a Pong Machine.

ImageImage

The SNES is a little yellowed from aging, as you can see.

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

The Right Picture Above: From upper-left corner to bottom-right corner: Master Converter that plays Sega Master System games on your Sega Game Gear. Super Game Boy plays Game Boy and Game Boy Color games on your SNES, Gameboy Player plays Game Boy GBC & GBA games on your GameCube, and the Sega Power Base Converter plays Sega Master System Games on your Sega Genesis Model 1.

ImageImage

The handhelds are as follows: Microvision (by Milton-Bradley), Game Boy (original model), Game Boy Color (Grape), Gameboy Advance-SP (Silver), Nintendo DS (original model), Sega Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color (Marble-Blue), Coloco Head-To-Head Baseball & Basketball, Electronic Pinball.

ImageImage

Power Player Famiclone, comes with a bunch of game pre-programmed on the machine, and plays actual Famicom cartridges. The colorful joysticks are T.V. Plug-N-Play games; The Pac-Man collection, and Spider-Man.

And now the games:

Atari 2600 Games:

Image

The beat-up label that's hard to see is Asteroids. I used to have like 40 Atari 2600 games. But truthfully, they just gathered dust. So I traded them for games I'd actually play. However, when I come across the games for 1 or 2 dollars, I still pick them up. Just not any more than that. I am into the history of gaming, so their worth it for that at least because what better way to learn about it than to experience it yourself.

Nintendo NES Games:

Super NES Games:

Nintendo 64 Games:

GameCube Games:

Nintendo Wii Games:

Sega Master System Games:

Sega Genesis Games:

Sega Saturn Games:

Sega Dreamcast Games:

Playstation (Original) Games:

ImageImageImage

Playstation 2 Games:

ImageImageImageImageImage

XBox (Original) Games:

ImageImage

XBox 360 Games:

Image

Game Boy (Original) and Game Boy Color Games:

Image

Gameboy Advance Games:

Image

I should have 2 more games in this picture, Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World and Mega Man Zero 2, but a friend is borrowing both of those games so I didn't have them available.

Nintendo DS Games:

Image

I used to have more DS games, but I traded a bunch of them to get Skyrim on XBox 360 when it came out.

Sega Game Gear Games
Image

Neo Geo Pocket Color Games:
Image

Game Genies & GameSharks (cheat devices):

Image

Controllers (I left out doubles (2nd player) of the same controller for room):

ImageImage

Light-Guns:

Image

Gaming Books:

Image

Gaming Comic Books (All Bagged & Boarded):

Image

Gaming Magazine (All Bagged & Boarded except Game Informer because it's too large to fit):

ImageImageImage

Many, many more issues of Nintendo Power and Game Informer stacked below those issues. I didn't think everyone wanted to see tons of pictures of just those 2 titles.

First and foremost you have a beautiful wife, even more so when she allows you to convert any room in the house to a dedicated man cave. Well cone and hold onto her.

While its cramped I am really digging it, I can imagine many quality hours in that space, and while you have shit all room, you have organized it pretty well. The chair is a hard one as you are so tight on room as it is, maybe a nice 'leather' office chair, the ones that dont have wheels, could work well in that space. What about when you buddies come over to game?

Do the controllers normally sit on the table like that, if so that's one of the game room pet hates, get those things in a storage box, or behind the door on a shoe rack. You also need to clean up the power board that all the consoles are hooked up to, it is a mega eye sore.

While the posters on the wall make the space look even smaller, it just adds to the man cave feeling, I love the action figured pinned up as well.

All in all, I think you have done pretty well considering how much stuff is in there.

Kinda random, but can you open the best sf 13 and see if there is a story called psychic jewelry in there? 8) Been dying to read it again for years.

Thanks a lot. I felt the same, that's why I got a ring around her finger.

Nice room! I wish I had the extra space to do up something similar...

BTW, most lazy boy style recliners have removeable backs. Check out under the back, you should see some kind of metal rail on both sides with clips that allow it to slide off. If so, you should be able to bring it in on its side in 2 pieces :)

I agree with everyone here, its an awesome collection!

I have a sizable collection of comicbooks as well, but I have no more space in my room, they are in a back room gathering dust. :(

COMIC CARDS! man those bring back memories! I had a whole bunch of them when I was in elementary school, The ones I have left are in a binder too.

Interesting, did you label your games way back in the day? cause it looks like a kid labeled them! hope I'm not being too mean! but they are yours, and looking at the consoles I guess those may be your first systems.

I am jealous of your copy of Pitfall 2! I have yet to see that game!

Keep up the good work my good man!
