I'm curious what video games or systems have managed to elude you? Or eluded you for a long time to only find it in a thrift store for next to nothing? Maybe its a price limit you've set for the item or its just really rare.
For the longest time I was close to buying Chrono Trigger (SNES). Two different times I found it for $30 passed on it only to come back and find it sold. This year I got chrono trigger for $2 at a goodwill store.
Earth Bound has continued to elude me; had my chance for $20 and said no a few years ago. How I regret that..
Other games/systems:
Bust a' Groove 1 & 2
Future Cop L.A.P.D.
Sega Master System
Power base converter
Bonk's Adventure (NES)
Snow Bros. (NES)
Pocky & Rocky 2
These games are so awesome. Definitely worth owning. In case you didn't know, you can get the Japanese versions CIB for like 1/4 of what snagging a US version will cost you. These games aren't reliant on text at all (obviously), and most of the menus and stuff are in English anyway. Also, the English versions are censored in some ways and even have cut content and completely different songs in some cases. I dunno if playing Japanese region PSX games is an option for you, but, if it is, there's really no reason not to get the Japanese versions.

Cool, thanks for the tip. I have burned copies but always wanted real versions. I'll check out the Japanese version.
Yeah, you really should get the Japanese releases if you have the means to play them. They're better in pretty much every way. Better endings, no censorship (Hiro smokes his cigarettes!), original songs (this is a big one), better box art, no bastardization, WAY cheaper, etc.
As for the topic, a Neo Geo MVS or AES has always eluded me. It's so expensive to get into Neo Geo, but I am pretty interested in doing so. Maybe someday.

Oh, forgot about those. I'd love to get in to those as well. Too costly.
I was maybe 10 years old long ago and there was a Master System at a garage sell out in the country and it was like $10 and I didnt get it because I thought the Genesis was the first Sega system. Oh how I wish I could go back in time.....
A WORKING phillips cdi, and arcadia 2001, and an affordable atari lynx model 2 or heck a model 1 if I could find it. I have pretty much evey other system I ever wanted.
Speaking of that, where do you get the cool icons of the systems that go under your posts? I see a bunch of people on here have them

I have met the man personally, and was very impressed with him. I purchased over 800 dollars of stuff from him in PRISTINE shape. I got my neo geo, turbo grafx 16, colecovision, and intellivion from him over the years. A great guy. Tell him "Alex from Texas" referred you
