I certainly plan to show up for Friday. I'm fortunately off the day before as well, so I should be able to come up there pretty early - maybe even the day before if someone is willing to lend a mattress or something.

Are you anywhere near Winston-Salem?

Me and my Troupe are setting out from Statesville on thursday and crashing for the night at a buddy's place in Winston-Salem, NC then heading out in first thing Friday morning after breakfast to the con.

I actually closer to Raleigh (154 miles - 2:29 hour drive) than I am Winston Salem (171 miles - 3:17 hour drive). However, I will be going to Winston Salem for the upcoming arcade auction. =P

Half of my crew leaves Thursday midday. The other half arrives via plane Friday evening. When you only have four in your party, it makes things easier.

This is going to be an interesting one though. We have a prime dealers space and Madgear is not going to be there. So I am bringing a handful of retrogames that I have dupes of and some standees.

The convention and a side company I work for are in the dealers room, either in the front row or in the row by the food. We are selling funny tshirts, Mario plushies - Yoshis and Mushrooms, Totoro plushies, dvds, manga, a plethora of anime related things, and other random stuff we find.

I recently received a Eva 04 and Rei in flight suit set of toys from the Japanese release of Eva. I figure Modman might be interested in those. There is one of the Eva 04s on ebay:
