E3 2011 TV Schedule, set your DVRs/TiVo

Post by BurningDoom »

E3 2011 is coming. Set your DVRs:

-G4TV Will Have FULL coverage of all the press-events (Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Ubisoft, & Electronic Arts) as well as coverage of the biggest games, and tons of other stuff. This airs the week of June 6 - June 9.

-Spike TV will air ONLY Microsoft's press conference June 6 at 9:00 a.m. PST.

-If you don't have cable, you can use the streaming option on sites like IGN.com, Gamespot, and others. Not as good as TV coverage, but it works.

E3 2011 Press Conference Dates and Times:

Monday, June 6th:

Microsoft: 9:00 A.M. PST
Electronic Arts: 12:30 P.M. PST
Ubisoft: 2:30 P.M. PST
Sony: 5:00 P.M. PST

Tuesday, June 7th:

Nintendo: 9:00 A.M. PST

After the press conferences there is a lot more coverage to watch on G4TV through-out the week covering all the other games and news and other going-ons at E3 2011, so check your cable guide for more listings through June 9.

Some of the stuff rumored to be revealed/covered at E3 include:

Bungie has stated they won't be at E3 this year.

EDIT:
"Oh, and while we’re on the subject of clarification, we won’t officially be at E3 this year."

Just to clarify.

Well that squashes that rumor.

I know Nintendo normally stream their own show on their website. Seems pretty reliable.

I imagine Microsoft and Sony do the same? I watched all 3 on backloggery last year, not sure which stream they were using though.

I'd rather watch a TV broadcast than streaming. Much better quality. Especially if you DVR it so you can zip through the numerous commercials, sports games, and stupid filler crap.

I can understand the hate with G4TV since they've pretty much abandoned their core audience. They used to be awesome. But since E3 is the exact sort of thing that we want to see on G4TV, then why hate on it? Watch it, by doing so it will let G4TV know that we want gaming back on their channel.

I don't have cable since I have the internet. I have to work during E3 times so I will watch the videos online when I get home.

Besides hearing about Nintendo's new console and upcoming games, I look forward to seeing Sony make a fool of themselves. Microsoft, I don't care about.

What I am most excited about is Phantasy Star Online 2. I really hope Sega is at E3 and they give us lots of new info on it. Even though PSO2 is coming out this year, we barely know anything about it. I am starving for information here.

I hear on good authority that it will be an NGP exclusive, downloadable only, with the strictest DRM available. To cater to an American audience it will explore themes of faith and marriage and all the main characters will wear neckties.
