Wow why paypal? I use them and don't mind them, but their customer service is some of the worst I've ever dealt with.

PayPal is great! Easiest way to pay for stuff. I no longer have to use my parent's credit card to buy MS Points and Xbox Live!
And hmmm, new disc format... How?

Re: Xbox 360 Spring 2011 Updates
It's a new kind of filesystem, I already know a few people who have Halo Reach discs in the new format. It allows for bigger disc sizes and it works on current firmware versions as well. It appears that the 360's DVD Drive firmware was updated a long time ago to have this support but it wasn't actually implemented because it wasn't tested enough. Clearly if you have a 360 that doesn't support the new format then it will just prompt you for an update. Problem solved.darthmunky wrote:PayPal is great! Easiest way to pay for stuff. I already have been using paypal to buy MS points off of xbox.com So you can already do it... you just need to use a computer.

I can't... probably because of where I live. Canadian users can't use PayPal for MS Points... yet!

Paypal may work out as long as their customer service gets better, o wait they fit hand in hand with Microsoft

So.... Did anyone get this update? I think it might have gotten delayed because it was supposed to happen yesterday and my xbox still has yet to update.

It's not that much larger is it? I've heard people saying the discs hold anywhere between 10-14gb.Niode wrote:

Older. Not wiser.

The update is being rolled out in a staggered delivery to ease the strain.darthmunky wrote:So.... Did anyone get this update? I think it might have gotten delayed because it was supposed to happen yesterday and my xbox still has yet to update.
The new disc format allows the disc to hold the extra 1GB that was taken away from them with the old anti-piracy sector.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:It's not that much larger is it? I've heard people saying the discs hold anywhere between 10-14gb.Niode wrote:
