Picked up a couple Japanese Import Shmups for ps1

Post by Chickensuit »

I was at a little thrift store in town and i came across a dusty case in a corner with piles of junk, in it i found these. They are Japanese Ps1 games: Strikers 1945 2 and Dodonpachi.
Anyways I picked them up for $5 a piece.
I put them in my computer and booted up epsxe and they both work great.
I had heard of Strikers, but had not Dodonpachi (it is a fun shmup). Does anyone know anything about these games, did i get a decent dea?

Hey Racket,
That's what i thought, believe it or not they had a bunch more piled in there, but i didn't have the cash on me and they were closing in just a few minutes. I think they had raycrisis, a japanese streetfighter (not sure which one), and a cool looking shmup by NAMCO, anyways those are just the ones i remember, they has some more too. Ill probably round up some cash and head back over in the morning.

As far as ripping them and uploading them, i'm willing to try but not sure i know exactly how.

if you'd let me buy it cheap i'm willing to buy the street fighter game off of you (if it has a spine card) and here i use version 3.9.

I don't know much about Jap games, is the spine card something different than the front and back cover art in the pics, if so, does having it make it alot more valuable?

let me know so i can figure out what to look for tomorrow

DoDonPachi is totally and completely awesome. That is a great find! I've never played the PS version, but I'm sure it's great too.
