I know a guy in Japan who can get it for about $48 shipped to the USA.
Damn. If only I had monies.
Does he charge for his time to get the game? I'm just wondering how he's able to get it our for (considerably) cheaper than everywhere else.
I don't know about this guy in particular, but Amazon.jp has amazing prices. They just won't ship to the States.

And it's not uncommon for shmups to hold their value, if not go up. That's why I keep telling myself this is an "investment"....

Amazon Japan has very good prices (compared to eBay) for sure. Every so often I use a proxy site to buy like $300 worth of junk from Japanese sites. Even after incurring the fees, you still save like 80 bucks.
