broken 360

Post by Dr. Jamal »

I got the red rings of death!!

but I sent it off to Microsoft the other day. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this experience and about how long did it it take for your 360 to get back fixed. bc i am a little impatient.

Oh, I'm pretty sure that it happened to some (if not many) people here... Mine took the usual time to get back, about 2 weeks.

I really do not understand why people are willing to shell out $300-$400 for hardware that is defective... :?

Neither do I. When I read about all the headaches people are having, I don't wish to add to that number. Maybe I'm just crazy.

Looks like the VGCats guy is getting his third 360 fixed/replaced.

It's all about the games. I am totally willing to put up with it (I'm on my third 360) because I love the games. My 360 has been gone only about a week each time, and it hasn't killed me yet.

I agree it's inexcusable for the hardware to fail so much, but it hasn't cost me any extra money and so what if I can't play Heavy Weapon for a couple of weeks. They need some new people manning the phones, however.
