Are you all (Except Inazuma apparently) seriously such fashion snobs that you enjoy taking valuable time out of your day to make fun of someone just for dressing differently? Haven't you got something better to do, like play a video game?
I agree that I think they look rather weird, but to reach the level of immaturity required to think someone is inferior just because of their choice of shoes is something I'm not willing to do.

Oh and for the record, I think Inazuma is still wrong when he say's people shouldn't have to wear suits and ties. I think it goes deeper than that. I don't think people should have to wear any specific kind of clothing for any occasion. All it rounds up to is preference, and if you're going to let society decide what to wear thats seriously quite sad. If I'm comfortable wearing one kind of clothing and prefer it over another why should I be forced to change clothes just because the people around me would be more comfortable. It makes no sense. Hell, in an ideal world people would be allowed to walk around nude with no problems at all. Sadly the government has problems with that and they're the ones with the most guns.

I agree with you. I think people should be able to decide for themselves what they want to wear, even if they want to be completely nude. I hate the idea of being forced to wear or not wear certain clothing, whatever it may be. I am all for freedom and thinking for yourself.

This thread makes me want to make parallels between fashion and video games. Believe me, it's not that hard of a connection to make, both are underrated forms of art as their highest levels.

To make fun of people who thinks ridiculous clothing makes them fashionable and cool, in my book, would be the same as making fun of someone who plays crappy, bland games because they think it makes them cool or because, in both cases, they simply have different tastes.

Those shoes actually look kind of cool, I might wear them for the heck of it some day if I had any laying around, which I don't.

Some of the greatest ideas in fashion have come from innovative thinkers who were given the freedom to create. Do you disdain fashion itself as a useful human pursuit?

Is concern with what someone should wear around their neck or what kind of lingerie is the sexiest any different than concern over how well things are rendered in a video game world? Do you not have a preference that the people you find attractive wear clothes that make them look good and accentuate their physical traits?
