Isn't that what you meant?
Of course not. I am the least violent guy you could ever meet.

If I chose to kick people's asses instead of lose respect for them, at least 95% of the world's population would be dead by now. >_>

You never cease to amaze!

You know what, I hate pants and lose all respect for anyone that wears them. Dead serious.

I guess in the sense of practicality i have to agree because its really not doing you anygood. In sense of fashion i have to say it does look good for those who care wear it right.

Ever stop to think about neck ties?

They serve no practical purpose, take time to put on, cost money, and feel uncomfortable. The only reason people wear them is because other people told them to wear it. The only reason some people think ties look good is because they were told to think that way.

Can someone come up with an actual valid reason why it's good to wear a tie?

When I see someone wearing an expensive fancy suit and tie with fancy uncomfortable shoes, I just sigh to myself and lose respect for them. Just another mindless sheep.

For those wondering, I wear the same thing every fucking day, unless the weather is so severe that I need to wear something else. Plain single color T shirt (with no advertisements), cargo shorts (lots of pockets and doesn't constrict body movement if I need to run or something), and tennis shoes. I wear no jewelry.

The only time you may see me wearing a button down shirt or something more fancy than that is if I was forced to do so, for whatever reason. If that happens, I am very upset the entire time I wear it, and I will be angry at whoever forced me to wear it.

I went to a funeral a year ago and I wore a bright green t shirt, shorts and green running shoes. I don't give a fuck about your mindless traditions. I didn't even want to go to the funeral in the first place because funerals are fucking bullshit. I only went because some close family members threatened to disown me if I didn't come.

If ties are uncomfortable, then your shirt collar/tie are probably too tight.

Ties look good. They convey that someone is serious and probably in a position of power/money. Women definitely prefer someone who is sharply dressed. Our culture has made most people to respect someone is well dressed over someone who wears a ratty t-shirt and jeans.

I do work around the house on the weekends and don't mind looking like a bum. But I also enjoy putting a suit on and spending a night on the town or at work.

I always get compliments from folks when I'm wearing a suit. It never fails.

A Freudian psychoanalyst would have a field day with those shoes.

The only reason a tie feels uncomfortable is if you tighten it too much... and you need to find some better dress shoes/socks if those are uncomfortable as well. Judging by what you have said though, I doubt you will ever attempt that. The suit I have fits well and feels good; you should get it from a suit store like Men's Warehouse so they can tailor it. I would also like to say that I love wearing shorts, t-shirts, flip flops whenever I can get away with it. I am a shorts/jeans person more than anything else. However, there is a time and place to wear certain things; going out and looking nice with your significant other doesn't make you a "mindless sheep".

Also, that bit you wrote about the funeral is pretty sad. At least you could have worn something to show respect for that person instead of complaining like a child. Hopefully one day you grow up and aren't so egotistical, life has more meaning when you're not always thinking about yourself.

On Topic:
Those shoes look pretty ridiculous and clown-like... I don't like cowboy boots in the first place so I definitely wouldn't be caught in something like that. Seems it would be hard to walk as well.

What you say is true, ties are uncomfortable and in no way practical as far as clothing goes. However if you're wearing that tie because you have to for your 6-figure job, then hell yeah I'd wear a tie. I'm poor, so I don't wear a tie to work.
