i was also thinking if we had as much people like we did last night we could use the Tournament or the Team Mode. well, see. i'm planning to be on again tonight. i did practice some new characters this morning so i could use more than my usual 5. also, i actually enjoyed watching other people play each other. i love seeing other fighters improved their skills each round.dsheinem wrote:It isn't just that, it was the fact that for the half an hour or so I was there the server closed their connection twice and so I got booted to the back of the line each time.sevin0seven wrote: David joined us but could not wait because the line was too long![]()
I also get easily bored watching other people play for very long...would using the tournament feature alleviate these long waits? Maybe it would at least make watching the matches a little more interesting so you could follow the action in your bracket?

Holy shit, you guys played for a long time. I'll be lurking around this thread to see when you guys are on again. I have sevin0sevin and noiseredux on my friends list so I should be easy to invite.sevin0seven wrote:that was a LOT of fun. play time was from 4:30pm to 9:15pm (PST).

yeah, i wanted to stay longer and fight zxqdms more (we were the last two standing) but my hands started to get burn from pushing the buttons too much at the end. i even had to take some rest between my streaks since i was fighting a lot. so if we ever have this kinda nights again we should definitely try the Tournament or Team mode.brunoafh wrote:Holy shit, you guys played for a long time. This could also be the "save reservation" button that appears when you are number 4 (2nd in line). When the save reservation button comes up, hit select. Then it saves your spot. I think this is a default built in when you have more than four in a room. This way guys can leave and not worry about slowing anybody else down. If they don't save their reservation, they just go to the back of the line instead of slowing every one else down.dsheinem wrote:It isn't just that, it was the fact that for the half an hour or so I was there the server closed their connection twice and so I got booted to the back of the line each time.sevin0seven wrote: David joined us but could not wait because the line was too long![]()

I hit the save reservation button, but the server kept getting closed and restarted so my place kept getting lost.mjmjr25 wrote:This could also be the "save reservation" button that appears when you are number 4 (2nd in line). I think because the host (sevin) closed the room or something?dsheinem wrote: I hit the save reservation button, but the server kept getting closed and restarted so my place kept getting lost.

i didn't closed any room. even my own lobby logged me out for some reason and automatically made CFFJR the main host?! remember when we were about to battle and suddenly i'm kicked out? so it must be the server acting up like David says.noiseredux wrote:I think because the host (sevin) closed the room or something?dsheinem wrote: I hit the save reservation button, but the server kept getting closed and restarted so my place kept getting lost.

OH I thought at one point you shut the room down to start a new one. I guess I misunderstood.sevin0seven wrote: i didn't closed any room. even my own lobby logged me out for some reason and automatically made CFFJR the main host?! remember when we were about to battle and suddenly i'm kicked out? so it must be the server acting up like David says.
