Thanks to this, instead of studying, I watched a half-hour long Dutch show and understood maybe 1-2% of it. And I loved it.

What if some of Saban's Range.... erm, employees went to visit Sabam's offices and sing them a song to cheer them up?

But yeah, that's just ridiculous.

Asking money for fake artists is to be expected. I doubt they go to Konami to pay for the Gradius music we played in our last convention.

Let's duel! SABAM vs SGAE (The Spanish version of the thiefs)

The SGAE has crashed several weddings, to see if they were playing music they didn't pay for.

After people complained, some moronic judge said that, "while it's true that they may only play free music, the SGAE doesn't need to prove it"

The SGAE has demanded royalties for a charity concert under threat of closing it down, even when every single artist working there waived their rights.

They tried to charge for the use of Fuente Obejuna to the village of Fuente Obejuna.

They have accused Google of "Fascism" because if you look for "ladrones" (Thieves) they are the first page to appear.

They tried to charge mentally challenged kids for a charity play.

They charge for artists that are not members of their own organization.

They have tried to charge the very own authors for use of their songs.

Trying to charge factories for turning the radio on.

Their system is so corrupt that the money goes in order of sales, so the money you make probably goes to the latest pop band.

Who wins? =P

My friend has a jukebox in his pub with his own songs on it (that nobody ever plays). He collects a PRS cheque every 6 months.
