It's a little thing called being the bigger person. Typically works better than sinking to your opponent's level

You mean like the entire Parents Television Council? You must think that reason actually works with them.
Well, let's see. They look down on Seth McFarlane and his shows. He compares them to Hitler and tells them to suck his dick. Yeah, great way to get them to change their opinion of you.
Well to be fair I don't think he really cares about their opinion of him.

Which is why instead of ignoring them, he calls them names in retaliation to show how much he doesn't care??

Well I don't know what to say then. I was having a laugh because that bit in the interview was funny to me. I don't claim to know how MacFarlane thinks, nor do I care. Same for the Parents Council.

It doesn't seem like a big deal to me, and its an old interview anyway.

I've just always respected people who can have an intelligent debate with someone. Seth just sounded like your typical, 13 year old internet troll

I'm all for intelligent debate, but when the other party's arguments tend to boil down to "no, u" then intelligent debate is going to get you nowhere. Being childish won't get you anywhere either, but at least you can have fun with it.

That's a perfectly fair assessment.

I hope I didn't seem like I was being snotty to you Gamer. I'm sorry if that's the case, because it wasn't my intention.

True, but it makes you look bad is all I'm saying. I've seen this already with guys like David Jaffe and Tomunobu Itagaki. Some people love the spectacle though of seeing dumb guys like that embarrass themselves, which I get. It is funny if you don't take it seriously, but while his comments may be worth a laugh, they've ultimately made me think less of him

The Flintstones got me hooked on Winston Cigarettes:

(Although I've long since quit smoking, I really did smoke Winstons.)

Hollywood can now sleep at night, as previously its civilians were worried that Seth didn't have enough money.

In all seriousness, I hope he has new animators for this task. Most of us have seen Fred and Wilma on Family Guy, and its very bland. But Seth doesn't have a track record at failing, and I'd love to see a show from him that isn't all reference jokes.

I also hope someone, someday explains why anyone would want to be showered by a woolly mammoth. A canary clipping nose hairs I can deal with but...
