Kula Diamond originally debuted as a boss character in KOF2000. Considering she's one of my all-time favorite SNK characters, I'll mention her.

Also, while not a boss, she is definitely the most evil character in all of the Darkstalkers universe - and considering she's the only one in the cast who doesn't have demonic blood in her, that's certainly something.

Guilty Gear also had Baiken as a secret boss, and Guilty Gear X had Dizzy as the final boss, and BlazBlue had Lambda/Nu as the final boss. I suppose Arc Sys is a fan of female boss characters.
