That's too bad that it looks like the game probably ended up getting rained out on you...
Luckily it didn't start to rain until after the game. My team lost 9-1, but I still had a great time and so did my wife. My friends who came to the game however, were posting on facebook by the 4th inning.

Booooo. On my bike ride yesterday I took my usual 5 minutes breather in the middle when I was at the park. There was a dad there with his young son, but he had earphones in and was fiddling with an ipod or smartphone. Man, if you're out doing an outdoor activity with other people and especially your kid, put the electronics away.

Oh you're going to get me started.

At the game a family of four sat behind us, two kids a Mom and a Step-Dad.

Now God bless the Step Father, but he had no clue about any of the rules. I made the mistake of explaining the farm system to the kid, and the tike wouldn't leave alone the entire game.

But related, I did school him on retro games.

The best parts of those DVD/BluRay/Digital Copy commercials they put on DVDs are the ones about the guy in workout clothes sitting on a park bench watching a movie on a tiny screen while all of his friends are playing basketball right behind him and the kid who is excited that he can watch his movie at the beach.

My girlie and I go on bike rides almost daily. The best part is always riding side by side talking, while watching her hair in the breeze. No music needed.

And Seinfeld would have another $10mil with a "Whaaat's the deal with rade-ee-oo-s on motorcycles? You're already loud and obnoxious, do you reaalllllly have to add Journey to the mix? Even your fenders are screaming Oy vey!".

i FINALLY tried a 3ds yesterday. i was at best buy and stopped at the kiosk. i played for LESS than a minute with the 3d cranked to 11 and my eyes hurt for the next hour or so.

minus the eye strain, i wasn't too impressed. yeah, the 3d effect was pretty cool, but it just seems like a gimmick.

fuck 3d. except 3d puzzles. i like building those.
if you took a shit, please put it back

About 15 years ago I was working at a motel and was talking with the front desk guy about drinking memories. He told me he realized he had a drinking problem when he woke up one morning on someone's front lawn. He was serious, and it still cracks me up today.
