What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Avoiding piracy, being legal and supporting the content providers is also worth $10 a month to a lot of people. That's the reason I use Netflix over torrenting stuff.

I avoid piracy when the content in question is something I believe to be worth supporting. That's another issue all together though I guess.

I purchase the DVD releases of the few shows I enjoy, and purchase most of the movies I enjoy. I would imagine that supports the content providers a lot more than Netflix does. I don't like to rent things, media included, I like to own the things I enjoy permanently. I'm the same way with games.

I think it's just that I dabble in this field of entertainment so little that I can't see the appreciation others would have for the service.

If it was worth your time to watch, wasn't it worth supporting?

If you haven't seen a movie yet, how do you know if it's something you consider to be "worth owning."

And why would you want to own something that you will likely only watch once or maybe twice? This question seems a lot more baffling to me than the question of why someone would want to be able to see 8+ movies per month for $10.

Just wanted to add that Netflix is more than worth the $10 if your into older classics and obscure stuff out on DVD. Sure torrents exist, but if it's not terribly popular with only a few seeders your going to have to wait as long as it takes to get it via Netflix, if at all.

I have Netflix ($7 Streaming-Only Plan), and it is a fantastic service. I think it is perfectly reasonable to want to keep your collection on physical media, but my main use for Netflix is to be able to access my collection plus a bunch of other videos from anywhere on a bunch of different devices. You can't carry your physical collection with you wherever you go, and even digital storage space is finite, so I see Netflix as a great solution to this problem.

I use torrents all the time and always have smooth experiences. Love em!

Netflix and torrents supplement for my lack of cable at home

I torrent stuff I want to watch. If Netflix was available in my country, I'd use it.

I pay about a dollar an ounce at hockey games, a sport that you think would promote more drinking. Almost all concessions were $3.00 or less, and the servers were all gorgeous college East Carolina blondes who always smiled and smelled of strawberry shampoo. Or maybe it was strawberry lip gloss. Whatever it was, the girls were 10's and smelled great.

Frown: Our team lost, bad and they didn't seem to care or want to play. But no real complaints.
You could torrent that beer for free...
