Hey folks,
I'm in my early twenties, recently graduated from college with a B.A. in English, and I have a tech support job with Auburn University. I've got a few years worth of experience writing game reviews for various newspapers and websites, as well as having the honor of serving as the president of the Auburn University Computer Gaming Club for a year. I'm a big fan of survival horror, fighting games, and RPGs (when I have time for them...which is never nowadays). I own a handful of consoles, though my absolute favorites would be the SNES and Playstation.
I joined the site after meeting Racket last weekend at a convention that Fastbilly was helping to run.

I am looking to buy an: Atari Jaguar or any other Atari systems, a NES, and more than anything, a 3DO. If you are selling one on ebay please let me know and give my the item number, i will happily buy it.
I like shoot-em-ups, fps's, racing games, rts's, and i like adventure games, (in fact i like playing oblivion just to run around and explore) but ill play anything if it looks fun. Glad that i could join and i hope to talk to yall soon.

Hello all,
I am a 29 year old Illinoisan who does freelance videogame reviews for various sites & hosted the talk radio show Fresh Tek Radio until it was absorbed by my other radio show. I am an avid gamer currently playing games on the NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, Xbox 360, PS3, DS & PSP and my cellphone lol. Genres of interest are RPG's, action titles and puzzle games & amything on Wii with the exception of Anubis 2 or Ninjabread Man. Also big fan of sci fi tv & movies like Stargate, Farscape, Star Wars, BSG, etc.
Currently on my holy quest to find a copy of Earthbound since I have never played it and have wanted it for years. Wish me luck

Hey, I'm Sean and I'm 16. I've been big into retro games for a long time. I play most of my emulated games on my PSP. I'm pretty much open to any genre and games from any era. I mostly play games from the 16 bit era since I grew up with them. I own a Xbox 360, Wii, Xbox, PS2, Gamecube, Dreamcast, N64, Playstation, SNES, Genesis/Mega Drive, NES, PSP, DS, GBA, and a GBC.
As for the nongaming side of things, I'm very liberal, I love discussions and debates. I'm very opinionated and I'm passionate about what I believe in. I'm very open and I love pretty much anything as long as it has some depth to it.

Hi, I'm new around here, so I thought I might introduce myself. I am 26 years old and I am married and a father of two (soon to be three!!!). I am a college graduate (B.A. in English) and I teach high school Language Arts and Drama. I frequent the CAG boards and that is how I found out about this site. I subscribed to rss months ago but I recently became a member because of the Together Retro idea. As you can imagine, there aren't many of my colleagues that are into my hobby, therefore I feel that I am missing out on intelligent conversation about games.
As far as this hobby goes, I have been gaming since I was young. My parents got my brother and I a NES for Christmas one year and I have been playing ever since. I have been really collecting now for over three years and I have nearly 600 games in my collection ranging from 2600 to the Wii. I am on xbox live often, so feel free to hit me up for a game of TF2 or Halo3 or whatever.
Finally, I feel as if I should explain my user name. When I first started collecting (going out to flea markets and thrifts) I stumbled upon a lady selling a lot of Nes games in their boxes that were ex-rentals. They weren't in pristine condition, but I picked up several at $2 a piece. One of these games was Metal Storm. I fell in love with this game and I recognize this as the first "hidden gem" that I found.

Greetings all! I've been a reader of racketboy since about the time I purchased my second (chipped) Saturn, and found the site through a search on Saturn imports and chipping, I believe. Since then I've lurked the boards off and on and have found myself here so much over the past few weeks I decided to finally register.
I'm 21 and loving living in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and studying Information Systems but don't really know where I want to end up or what I want to do long-term, and how or if that even will involve computers at all.
First gaming experience was my Master System at age three, and I'm still quite the Hang-On/Safari Hunt master. Since then I've had a lot of great game collecting experiences come and go: selling my Atari 2600 collection (SHIT!!!), trading FOR a 5200 in a nice original box with the little plastic/cellophane things on the system and controllers still, for four old DVDs... too many stories to list, but I'm sure they'll all come out over time here. Anymore, I'm more of a collector, but I'm madly in love with my Dreamcast, Saturn, and Wii. DDR was a big love that I wish I had the time for today as well.
Other than games, I love music and live shows of all sorts (rock, indie/"punk" influences, classical/jazz). Sports are another love of mine, including anything college basketball, Steelers, Pens, Phillies, or Penn State related. I also like to get involved and learn more about art and culture in the Philly area as well.

Hi everyone, I'm 23 and I've had my Saturn for about 4 years now, and I got it for only $9.00 at what used to be Funcoland. It came with a power cord and nothing else, but I used the internet to put together the other pieces and it's a cool little console. I've never been a "gamer"; in fact this is my lastest and greatest console, lol. I played some PC games (99% the EA NHL series), but that's about it. But this console can be a real blast to play and I'm here to talk about some of the games and discover some gems that I don't know of yet. I have a particular interest in sports titles, and I'll be asking around about them shortly!
Anyway, thanks for the registration, and I'm glad to be here!
Kevin
