Nope, its far from dead. It actually has been released in Japan last week, so importing is pretty much the only option.

Nice, I just paid for my copy the other day. I am excited to delve into the collection.

So I am assuming everyone bought the PSP version since I see nothing about a PS2 version being available?

Yup!
Had a chance to play with it briefly this morning - quite liking it so far! Worth getting, IMO.

I really need to nab it. Is it going to remain import-only?

I would say wait until after E3 and see if we get an announcement or a date. If there is nothing on it by second week of June I would say its safe to say it won't be coming and go ahead and import it.

I copy and pasted the game list from dsheinem's OP. Vanguard 2 is there! A shame this was not released a year ago, a chance PS2 might have gotten a copy. So are all the games on the PSP version?dsheinem wrote:Yup!Purkeynator wrote:So I am assuming everyone bought the PSP version since I see nothing about a PS2 version being available?

Here’s a list of the twenty games in SNK Arcade Classics 0:
Athena series
Athena
Psycho Soldier
Ikari series
Ikari Warriors
Dogosoken
Ikari III: The Rescue (overseas version)
Action
Guerrilla War
Marvin’s Maze
P.O.W.
Search and Rescue
Street Smart
Sports
Gold Medalist
Super Championship Baseball (overseas version)
Touchdown Fever
Shooting
ASO
Bermuda Triangle
HAL 21
Prehistoric Isle in 1930
Sasuke vs. Commander
T.A.N.K.
Vanguard 2
New features include a gallery mode with illustrations and background music to play. While SNK Arcade Classics 0 has not been officially announced in the West, SNK Playmore USA released Metal Slug XX and NeoGeo Ultimate Shooting as downloadable PSP imports. We’re betting they’re going to do the same thing with SNK Arcade Classics 0.

I've been loving my Capcom and Neo Geo comps that I have on the PSP. I'll have to look into importing this soon.

So where is the best place to order this game in the event it doesn't come out in the U.S.?
