Reading about Taco Bell, Del Taco, and Jack in the Box tacos makes me realize one thing. There is a lack of taco shops in the United States.

Shredded Pork + Kroger Bell Pepper & Onion Mix + Chipotle Tobasco + Frying Pan = awesome tacos.

And I want it now.
I hear diarrhea isn't that fun.
Who told the anzacs about Taco Bell? We're going to have to work on better secret keeping, I see.

I just watched Super Mario Bros. The Movie, and I strongly believe that it should be considered official canon to the series.

Had a culinary throw down yesterday as I held a "Battle of the Burgers". Now if you ask me, it's all about the meat you use, but it was fun to see how creative some people got. I bought a chuck roast and grounded the beef myself. I then went for a "Western" style burger and topped the grilled medium rare burger with smoked gouda, fresh jalapenos, a homemade chipotle bbq sauce, and apple wood smoked bacon. It was surprisingly tasty.

Taking the wife to a minor league baseball game today. Great seats; first baseline, two rows back.

So I guess this is more of a "what's up" post than a "random thought" post.

Nope. Maybe I'm missing a joke here.

But semi-related, before and after I grind beef I always pass a slice of bread through the grinder. Helps soak up any unwanted bacteria.

And I'm just not a fan of ground sirloin. I am, however, a fan of entering my name as "loin" in Actraiser, as the angel calls me "Sirloin". But for burgers chuck is the way to go.

And I don't' have a deep fryer, but I did whip up some tasty onion rings to go with the burgers. My wife made a great blue cheese burger with escarole, which I highly recommend over lettuce or arugula (cooked arugula is a different animal).

At the risk as sounding kind of risque, Luke I want to make hamburguers with you :D

My recent foray into boardgaming has been great but the online community has huge problems, problems that probably arise from defending their spending, much like fanboys arise from the "need" to defend buying one console over the other.

It kind of sucks but I don't care because all the people I'm going to game with are nice 8)
