Tron Legacy

Pics are from the first TRON movie.

Finally got the DVD from the local library, I'm glad this movie was a free checkout. What a CRAPPY movie. The light cycle scenes were nice, adding the different levels for three planes of "Surround" walls to dodge. I did miss the instant 90 degree turns the original Tron bikes did. Also too much of a NON COMPUTER WORLD appearance. What is with all the smoke and heavy shadows trying to look so real? The original Tron actually made all the characters and scenery more brighter and flat without the silly smoke. It looked like one is really inside a computer.

But the main pain, too much BORING dialog in trying to create a storyline. what a load of Doo Doo. I don't know, maybe the first one was so great was because when it came out. Arcades were just hitting a Wow factor, then the movie came along and blew everyone away with the CGI. Now we are spoiled, all the graphics are redundant, perhaps the reason Tron Legacy pushed for such realism.

It looks fake, part of realism of appearing to be inside the mainframe.

I loved this game when I first got my PS1.. I played the demo for this over and over again for I can't tell you how long... And I'm glad somebody else noticed the 'Tron' similarities... Was this game really actually inspired from the movie?

i recently found a channel that i didn't even know existed: IFC. at least i think that is the name of the channel. it is a station that has commercials, but none of the movies are edited for length or content, which is a plus. there isn't anything wrong with boobs and hearing curses. a few weeks ago i recorded alien, die hard, boondock saints, and pulp fiction.

it was the first time i watched alien and i thought it was great. sigourney weaver was a fox back in the day.

die hard is great. not the first time i have watched it.

boondock saints is just overrated. i know it has a cult following, but i see nothing special about it. i am not calling it a bad movie, i just wouldn't call it great. but, maybe i need to watch it again to fully appreciate it.

i have not watched pulp fiction yet.
if you took a shit, please put it back

I'm actually with you on that, Sigourney Weaver was a babe in the first 2 Alien flicks. Even when she really, really, really wasn't.

Not sure, but look at the intro movie. I swear those tanks are right out of Tron. I would love to sit in a simulator like that! You should try to find the complete game, it also plays with the link cable. There is a PC version as well.

Assault Rigs is a great pre-dual shock game, perfect for Arcade sticks. I use my Zaxxon modded controller for this one.

Three O'clock High. Funny, but the teachers are fucking retarded.

Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder. Awesome. Totally feels like a theatrical film, but a bit shorter.

And not a movie, but... this documentary on Logo about Broadway, which spans the '03/'04 season and focuses on four musicals: Taboo, Wicked, Avenue Q and Caroline, or Change. Very deep look at the inner workings of The Great White Way.
