saturn problems again.

I just took apart the one I have that isnt displaying the video properly, now its back together and the disc isnt spinning, maybe i didnt plug somthing in right. What controls the disk spin?

make sure that you plugged in the power to the cd drive, shouls be a little green hook up. and also, check to see if the white cable that goes from the mobo to the drive still has all its pins.

and yea, keep the system running for 1/2 hour, the video should be fine by then, i have a saturn with the same problem, but thats what i do to get it to work.

You might want to look over the motherboard for cracked solder connections. If the video performance improves after leaving it on you may have a cracked solder connection that isn't completing the circuit when cold but completes the circuit when things have warmed up (and expanded).

Are there specific places/chips that i should look at while looking for the cracked joints?
