Watched Fringe's season finale tonight
Mind blown. I officially dub Fringe better than Lost. It's everything that made Lost great, but more focused and less convoluted. It has lots of Lost references too, so it feels like its carrying Lost's torch
Watched last week's Doctor Who. Confused. That was actually the most Lost-like Doctor Who episode I've seen. Lots of random ass stuff happening in the episode with no explanation. Still scratching my head over it

I'm 2 days late but I watched the season finale of Justified tonight. Like the season finale of Sons of Anarchy, they've set things up to get really interesting in the next season. I liked season 1 of Justified but everything just came together this season. $%@#$ awesome.
Also, while I've never watched it except for brief clips and it always looks cheesy as hell, I think I'm going to watch the finale of smallville next week.
And season 3 of fringe needs to come out on dvd soon.

I just got done watching it. I agree, my mind feels like it's been repeatedly fucked and abused and I absolutely loved every minute of it.Gamerforlife wrote:Watched Fringe's season finale tonight

Yeah, it was great. This has been their most ambitious seasonRyaNtheSlayA wrote:I just got done watching it. I agree, my mind feels like it's been repeatedly fucked and abused and I absolutely loved every minute of it.Gamerforlife wrote:Watched Fringe's season finale tonight

I also caught up on Nikita and Supernatural. Nikita is becoming an excellent show that I hope gets renewed. It's beginning to take on the dark tone of the original Nikita series with lots of twists, turns, backstabbing and stylish spy action
Supernatural pretty much explained everything that has happened all season with this episode and all it all tied together quite nicely. Looking forward to the season finale in two weeks. The way this show's mythology expands every season is very cool and with that, the stakes seem higher every season

It is really satisfying to watch something paying homage to its history. Nikita's season finale re-enacted a well known scene from the movie Point of no Return, which was an American remake of the Nikita movie. They also featured a prominent new character played by one of the most important actresses from the original La Femme Nikita tv series. On top of all that, the episode was just a kickass season finale with surprises, game changers, action, cinematic awesomeness and payoffs. I'm tempted to say it was even more awesome than Fringe's finale, but Fringe's finale stands out just for being such a big mindfuck

Tried watching the smallville finale. After 45 minutes of chick music and nothing happening I gave up. Turns out the show is just as cheesy and boring as I always assumed it was.

I watched Smallville for a long time. Problem is, they took forever to pull the trigger on certain things, they kept re-using story elements, they never gave us a Batman despite using tons of other DC characters and the show had the WORST action sequences and special effects of any show in recent years. Too many Smallville fights consisted of one or two punches and pretty much nothing elseJrecee wrote:Tried watching the smallville finale. I gave up like two or three seasons ago I believe. The best thing about Smallville was Lex and Lana, but they didn't really use them as well as they should have

I have a friend that stuck with Smallville through the whole thing, I think he deserves a medal. Maybe a few.

So did anyone watch Neil Gaiman's Doctor Who episode yesterday? It was called The Doctor's Wife and I really enjoyed it. Brilliant concept and one that I think would resonate in particular with male viewers. This was a really strong episode with some great dialogue and one especially good casting choice. Also, Roury is rapidly becoming a much better character than Amy
