What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

got in a little argument with some random facebook user. And he was going on how great and cool he is by using the total amt of friends he had in facebook compare to my meagerly 100.

here is his comment

Ryan Brown: "atleast i dont have like 100 friends on fb and write 3 comments at the same time you fuckin homo"

ps: mr. brown has 411 friends

honestly this is so stupid , made me dumber listening to him rant on.

I don't have one solely because I dislike people having an easy time of finding me. But yeah, I could add that as a reason too.

The past two days have had gray, rainy weather nonstop.

I love it!

There's the smile. No ticked though, today was a good day.

Smile: The company took everyone out for lunch today - Mongolian BBQ!

Smile: I just discovered Netflix for the Wii today and got to watch "Batman: The Red Hood". I had no idea that these direct to DVD DC flicks were so good!

Smile: I got to try the game 'Shank' at a friends place today - AWESOME!

It's smiles all around today - I wish everyday was like this!
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

 Ticked: My local Honda specific junkyard guys are all complete and utter assholes. They swore they had ultra rare and hard to find Civic Wagon rear speaker pods for only $15 a piece. I flew down there for them only to find that they not only didn't have any, but they also didn't bother looking in the first place.

:) Smile: I made them work their ass off to get me a door lock pull. Paid $5.40 which is a bit high but it was sooooo worth it to make them run around looking for one after they screwed me. Took them nearly an hour to get one in blue that wasn't broken as I just sat there playing with my phone.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

Smile: Saw a youngster playing a Genesis after getting one (CIB I might add) for free from a passerby in our local Church trash/recycling drop-off service day. The convo was funny/annoying:

Me: "Ah nice! Where'd you get the Genesis?"
Him: "Some dude just gave it to me and I thought I'd hook it up to play."
Me: "I loved that game when I was your age."
Him: "What? You don't know what this game is!"
Me: "Uh, it's Rocket Knight Adventures. Great game."
Him: "Whoa, how did you know that?"
Me: *Thinking* I can't tell if he thinks the Genesis came out a LONG-ass time ago or he thinks I'm fairly young.

Either way I was happy to see retro fun being had. Now I just need to get that copy of Rocket Knight Adventures from him, obviously he doesn't deserve it. :P
