Yeah, I wish they'd have a physical release. But I'm just glad this is actually coming out.

Yeah, the link above says UMK3. They didn't really "leave out" MK3. UMK3 is just an updated MK3, but the same game.
Well, it's a different game in my collection. =P

Ya know what would be cool as an unlockable? Mortal Kombat Trilogy. I know it's a broken mess as far as balance goes (at least according to all the MK-heads I know), but I don't care. I probably would have liked UMK3 more if Raiden and Johnny Cage were present.

Is any one thinking about getting that stick? I don't own any sticks (except for the SNES Advantage which SUCKS) so I'm thinking about actually getting this one.

I just picked up a MadCatz SF4 stick like 2 weeks ago, that I like a lot. So I'm good.

Ahhh, but you need that X pattern for the full MK experience!

Same here. The lack of Cage killed that game for me.

I'm happy this kollection is finally coming out though. Good stuff.

is that what it looked like in the arcade? It dawns on me I never played it in the arcade. I had all those games on consoles. Genesis (MK), SNES (MK2) and PS1 (MK3). Hmm.

SF pattern does not work with MK.

And yeah, MK3 is practically like a demo of UMK3. It's not really worth your time.

I blog about games and art. Usually both at once. Check it out at your own risk.

doesn't matter to me. I use fightpads for fighting games and sticks for shmups.
