Yeah, but there are only what, four Dreamcast light gun games. Of those one is on the Saturn/PS2/PC and the another is on the Wii. Not a huge issue.

Let us know what you think of the monitor when its in your posession noise! One more thing to add. With a computer monitor not only do you get superior colors, but you also get a crazy fast refresh rate! Your going to absoluetly adore your new purchase.

As for lightgun games, yeah no big loss. Having 100x the amount of pixels is worth not playing the usually crapppy games anyhow

Even then, not all lightgun games will work on all CRT monitors. I for one could only play the Japanese version of HOTD with a lightgun on my CRT monitor. All the others acted crazy, including my PAL copy of HOTD and my Japanese Virtua Cop 2... :?

Whaa!?... Crappy lightgun games!?... There's no such thing on Dreamcast.

I remember when my friend got a launch PS3 but only had a CRT TV at the time. He brought it over my house just to see how it would look on an HDTV with HDMI, then bought himself an HDTV soon after.

Congrats though, noise! Enjoy!

Agree, I think all the DC Lightgun games are decent, even the badly acted ones.

The U.S version of House of the Dead 2 ran fine for me with a VGA CRT monitor. A hold over since I upgraded the living room to a HD CRT. On Halloween nights, I set up a SDTV 20" CRT in the back of the 4runner in the driveway. I pass out candy to the little monsters while shooting monsters on the Dreamcast.

Maybe something to do with PAL vs NTSC expectations from the game and the VGA refresh rate?
