TF2 Saxxy Awards

In a recent patch Valve added the replay feature and a new replay contest to go along with it. They are called the Saxxy Awards. I won't go into very much detail about it but you can look it up for more details if youre interested. Basically it is just a competetion to see how can submit the best video for a specific category. I'm not sure what the prizes are but I figure I would enter for the hell of it.

I recently started playing TF2 again after a few year break and I figured I would enter the contest for the hell of it.

Check out my entry. I submitted it to the following categories:

Most Inventive Kill
Best Mid-Air Kill
Funniest Replay
Most Extreme Stunt

Maybe I will get lucky and win something.



I know the video isn't amazing but I thought it was funny and entering the contest couldn't hurt. I think the total video likes and views affects something in the voting so please watch the video (its only about 15 seconds long) and then Thumbs Up, Comment or even subscribe if you want to help me out.

Making stupid ass achievements like "get 10,000 views on youtube", so you have knobs not actually trying to play properly they are trying to do stupid shit for a replay does.

Hey, your video is cool! I made a thread about it but there was so much negativity that I decided not to post in it.

I'm envious, all the fun/cool stuff that happened to me, was before my favourite servers got the feature =/

I don't know what kind of servers you visit but I haven't seen people not playing because they want to make a replay.

If anything, this has really brought even more life to the TF2 community, with people being able to share their gaming experience with others easily. Demos were a pain in the ass that broke after every bug fix.

I can't think of any game, ever, that has had so much support after it was released.
