What are you listening to at the present? (genres helpful)

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Just ordered the new KMFDM album on amazon, since I pretty much can't find good (ok, slightly lesser known) music on CD at any brick and mortar stores anymore. My bestbuy has compressed their music section into 2 half sized aisles.

A friend of mine who has made a pretty good name for himself nationally as a DJ and record label owner recently released this mix that is just fantastic. It's really funky glitch hop stuff. It's the first thing I've heard in awhile where I just wanted to dance from the first beat onward. He's done tons of mixes, but this one is probably my favorite of his to date:

Aaron Simpson: Simplify Mix Sessions 7

Man, screw you guys, I've been into KMDFM since '88. :P

Ok, I really have, but I had to say something that sounded hipsterish

You refer to "slightly lesser known" music as the only good music, in essence.

Totally hipsterish.

I refer to what?

To me, the (ok, slightly lesser known) bit sounds like a bit of a retraction of the previous statement anyhow, and it was only in reference to the selection available at his local brick-and-mortar places.

Now you are denying you are hipster. That's totally something a hipster would do.

My brother and I had a conversation about this the other day. Once someone calls you a hipster, there is no way you can defend yourself for the reason I just stated above. I've decided that the only real way to tell if a person is a hipster is to throw them in water. If they float, they are a hipster, if they drown then they are not. I am wise in the ways of science.
