Is the cherry keyboard membrane or switch? If it is switch I am supremely jealous.

You do know you can get USB to PS/2 adapters right? They're usually under a single $1 and open up the plethora of gaming mice on the market for your personal enjoyment.

Haven't bought anything in awhile. I'm doing a big record & video game sale this Saturday. Just hoping the weather holds up. They're talking cold weather and scattered showers. :(

Most USB Keyboards and USB Mice with the PS/2 green adaptor do not work with the SmartJoy Frag. Only the MS Mouse USB with the PS/2 adaptor works.

It does work, I just wanted extra mice as backups. I already have a PS/2 Mouse, Trakball and the classic IBM tank of a Keyboard. Even wrote a comprehensive review and a mod for USB devices.

You can't beat the price of the SmartJoy Frag, get it while you can. No longer being made. Niode has the XBox version, gave good comments on that one as well.

I wrote the review-mod on the SmartJoy Frag here which includes a sale link:

Not sure, no clicks but the keys feel solid and have a good throw. Deeper push then a laptop keyboard. The individual keys are smaller, but adequate for gaming.

CRT, I must say I love your Gamestop posts. Seeing your level of OCD makes me feel better about mine

I picked up a complete copy of Star Trek Conquest for the PS2 based solely on your recommendation when I saw it during the B2G2 a couple weeks ago. Wouldn't have even noticed it if it hadn't been for your post.

Just got one hell of a deal.

I met up with some guy on Craigslist who put an ad out for some Sega stuff. I went over there and he had a hell of a stash. Tons of Sega, Nintendo, and Atari stuff. We got talking a bit and somehow started talking about metal, and I brought up how Death is my favorite band of all time. This really sent him for a loop, and I guess he's personal friends with a bunch of the guys from numerous UK-based and Bay Area metal bands like Napalm Death, Cradle of Filth, Obituary, Morbid Angel, etc. Guess he's pretty well known in the metal circuit. He thought it was awesome that I was a big Death fan, and a fan of pretty much every other band he brought up, and practically gave the following away:

Model 1 Genesis + Sega CD attachment + 32X (with all cords, except for 32X, no cords)
x2 Master System Controllers
Master System light gun
3D Glasses for Master System
2600 paddle controller

All for $60. Damn. He even gave me a bunch of metal CDs for free. Being a Death fan really paid off today.

Went to a local pawn shop today that seems to get a lot of good games and charges a flat price for everything (a blessing and a curse :? ) Anyways, while poking around I noticed they had some cabinets open I'd never noticed before and it was full of misc. game accessories and random systems. They've been holding out! :P

They were hesitant to part with anything since one of the owners was out of town but I was able to pry a NES multi-tap for $5 (which was all I really wanted out of there) but I'll be headding back Monday to get some pricing on the rest of the stuff.

I know there's at least a SNES or two, model 1 genesis, three game gears, some old controllers, a game boy battery pack and much more. I don't think there's much rare stuff but they wouldn't let me get closer to check it out.

Have you ever played Power Drome on the original Xbox? You might really like it if you enjoy these kinda futuristic racing games. The first-person view is particularly impressive!

You need to buy the Xbox version rather than the PS2 port though due to framerate issues.
I can vouch for Power Drome. fun game. I didn't have any problems with the ps2 version myself, but then again I haven't played the Xbox one.

I also really enjoyed Kinetica for ps2, while we're on this sort of tip lately.
PS2 Power Drome - $0.99 FREE

A couple members got my curiosity on this one. Found another 99¢ game complete with case, cover insert and game manual! The best part is this was FREE. I'm a regular at the local Gamestops, the employee actually just gave me the game at no charge. He mentioned the trade in value was only a dime. I still like Hypersonic Xtreme better but this floating jet racer is not bad.

This game is HDAdvance compatible!

PS2 Psychonauts - $12.99

The site shows a two dollar increase, now this game is at $14.99. A sign of a great game collectable? Although, I have found $2.99 games at Gamestop that are rare.

The opening menu screen starts out like Katamari, but instead of a world, the game character Raz walks on top of a giant brain! Let me see, a little of the following mix in here: Dreamcast Evil Twin, the PC game 9 Last Resort, the weirdness of PS2 Stretch Panic and a touch of Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas. A great explore game with no fog whatsoever, I can easily see what is in the distance. A very strange discover all kinds of unusual things. The real fun is when you pysch into another person's mind and explore their hidden nightmares. I completed the coach colonel's Basic Braining Training, oh man that is crazy, the logs the logs! A great explore the demented funhouse at the carnival. 8)

A different kind of Japanese Horror game. Just started this and am trying to avoid the crazed shooting policeman. An interesting game with shadow light affects that adds to the suspense. 8)

This game is HDAdvance compatible!

GBA Lost Vikings - $4.99
http://www.lunavideogames.com/
YES! Finally found the cart! I played this one long ago as a PC DOS game. Have the PS1 version which is different levels. Another great game that is perfect shrunken down for portable gaming short session bites. Challenging puzzle levels using the skills of each viking.

1. Erik is the only one that can jump. Also can break thru walls.
2. Baleog has a sword, bow and arrows to kill enemies and hit remote switches.
3. Olaf has a shield to block enemies and parachute. Also a platform for Eric to jump higher.

All three vikings have to make it to the exit to continue on to the next level. If a viking dies, the game does not end. I can still trial run the other two to see what obstacles are ahead. :D

Hit the Gamestop link and GET THIS GAME!
