Don't even waste RB's bandwidth/your time arguing with him.

Might not seem like much but that's due to the fact that he's in Afghanistan. So except for letters or a rare phone call, it's our only means of communication, not to mention he always says playing with me online helps him out emotionally a great deal. He and I are the only family we have left (not counting my wife and kids) so it's a pretty big deal for us. So pardon me if it pisses me off when someone shouts their glee about the outage and then says he's not being an ass, that he's trying to save me from myself.

Guess I'll do the same, I wasn't bashing, I was trying to help him realize that rejoicing someone's misfortune because he thinks it's in their best interest is not only a stupid idea, it's also the ultimate act of arrogance and self-righteousness.
My analogy with the rope being viewed as a snake was right on. You think I'm trying to harm you but it couldn't be further from the truth. I am making personal sacrifices in order to help you, but you just can't see it.

Now Inazuma, I'm not going to argue with you, but, take a look at what you're writing. It comes off a lot like a nutter Christian on the street trying to "save" me as well.

Just an observation.

It may appear similar but in my case, it is based on truth. For the religious folks, it's based on lies. That's kind of a big deal.

Let's say that Nike was using black slaves to produce their shoes. I find out about that and choose to boycott Nike. After that, the Nike store in town goes out of business. Someone complains to me about not being able to buy Nike shoes anymore. I try to explain to them how it's actually a good thing that the store shut down, but they don't get it and think I'm some asshole who is trying to prevent them from wearing Nike shoes.

Oh ho ho ho man. If those are the morals you claim to live by, you have no business buying anything video game related... no, you have no business buying any electronic devices - especially those produced within the last decade.

At this point you are being a simple troll. People are upset and flustered about the PSN situation. No one appreciates your attempts at devaluing their vented frustrations. Continue your crusade against Sony or whoever in silent protest. This may be a public forum, but I'm getting the vibe that you are clearly not wanted here in this thread.

Ok folks, get it back on topic. Enough about snakes and religion.

Sony said the 31st of the month now for a date to be back up. The two-punch SOE situation seriously hit them hard in the gut but hopefully it's up again soon as it's making my real-life job a lot harder lately.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

Ugh, I can imagine. What are you guys dealing with? People asking about the outtage in general? Shit tons of trade-ins?
