I got the exact same deal a couple months ago at Wal-Mart.

I winged into a Game Trader today and bought a small handful.

Zoop - Genesis
Gradius III -SNES

Both cart only but in really good shape. I hate seeing labels ruined, so its nice to find a cart that looks new. Also:

Flashback: Quest for Identity - Genesis

Complete in original box, great condition. Even when I buy a boxed game, I'm surprised to find manuals. This one's a bit creased and has some writing inside, but other than that looks great.

And finally Genji: Dawn of the Samurai for PS2.

30 bucks for the whole thing. 5 each for Zoop and Flashback and ten each for Gradius and Genji.

I got the same thing for $1 more because this guy tricked me!

JK I've been wanting one for a while so I'm glad he pointed me towards it, looking forward to Netlink gaming.

Videogames Hardware Handbook Volume 2 for 12.50 euro from the newsagent at the hospital where I work. the cheapest I found it online costs 3 times as much (including shipping). Really nice book but severely shop-worn. I wish I had Volume 1 as well but the prices for that are ridiculous.
When some colleagues of mine saw it they suddenly remembered that they have some old consoles and offered to give them to me if they find them. So, with a bit of luck I might end up with a free Game Gear and a Master System.

Wow - didn't know they were that high in price. I've got 1 and 2. No Volume 1s on Amazon and the only Volume to is $80!?

Shit. Maybe I should sell right now... I bought both at Barnes and Noble for about $20 when they came out.

I got a DS Lite, Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing, Super Princess Peach, Cooking Mama, and Nintendogs all complete for 23 dollars. My cousin has not looked at the thing in years and had it in her closet and practically gave it to me.

Whaaaaaaaaaaat?

SPP is worth more than that by itself. You just got a hell of a deal.

Swap Meet!

Image

I got lucky on these picks. I went to an out of the way small Swap Meet in a neighboring community, first time I went there. A huge triple spaced used computer parts seller was there. All kinds of computer crap to rummage thru. Turns out the vendor is there only the 1st Saturday of each month, a lucky day to visit!

PS/2 LED Sensor Mice - $1.00 and $3.00
I was on a hunt for a couple more LED Sensor mice that have the older PS/2 connector. Hard to find, most either have a ball or an USB connector. Got a new one for three bucks. A seller two spaces down had a used one for a buck, bought both. The mice work great. :D

So why bother with these older mice? They are perfect for the Smart Joy Frag! Play all your PS2 games with a mouse and keyboard.

I wrote a thread on this here:
PS2 Smart Joy Frag Mouse and Keyboard Adaptor

PS/2 Cherry Compact Keyboard - $5.00
http://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard_deta ... RODUCT=575
Also found a very small keyboard made by a company called Cherry, manufactured in Czech Republic. :? A nice bonus is the clear keyboard protector, keeps the spills out of the keys during marathon gaming sessions. Keyboard works flawlessly with a nice solid feel under the protector overlay.

The SmartJoy Frag requires both a keyboard and mouse to work. This compact keyboard is perfect when I just want to play a mouse only game such as REZ. 8)

CRT, you really should try to put together a comprehensive video when you get the SmartJoy working. I would be really interested to see it in action.
