Also, if it sounded like I wanted to start a fight, then I'm sorry. I actually don't care much to try and change your outlook on Sony, but I was just ticked off that you can find enjoyment out of other gamers not being able to enjoy online play. I've cooled down of course, so I don't want this to escalate into anything needless.

Me and my friends weren't planning to buy anything off PSN, all we wanted was the play games together afterschool. Whether it's playing some fighting games, or me being dragged into a game like Black Ops, it was a good way to relieve some stress afterschool.
Did Activision remove split-screen multiplayer or what? Seems easily remediable. Get all your friends in one place to play.

I feel like online play is ruining the social aspect of gaming, the opposite of what it's trying to do. Get people in the same room and play together!

I agree with this very much. I'm not into the online gaming craze one bit.

I like playing fighting games with others -- as long as it's set to match up skill levels.

I make an exception when it comes to fighters since the point of a fighter is to play against a human opponent, and I don't always have a buddy to play with.

Well, I've been enjoying single player like I usually do, and I'm not really online reliant, but sometimes kids just wanna enjoy a shooter in a big group after school lets out.

I'm not trying to disprove any of you, but Inazuma said he enjoyed PSN being down, and I was just trying to give an example of what people can't do without PSN.

Trust me, I can do without PSN if need be, but like Noise says, what if I wanna play a fighter? Not a lot of my friends are fighting game fans, and I usually only play fighting games with them on the weekends, so during weekdays, I count on PSN to match me up with different people.

@Veno

You won't understand it but I only have good intentions here. Everything I say or do related to Sony is to help you. Even though people can't look at the big picture and actually get upset at my attempts to help them, I can't help but want things to improve for everyone.

In other words, you are gradually sinking in quicksand because you walked into it yourself. I'm there with a rope trying to rescue you, but you think the rope is actually a poisonous snake so you refuse to grab it.

I believe you have good intentions, but what if, say...I actually liked Sony? The PS1 was my first console I actually had all to myself, and I've liked Sony ever since. I've had almost no problems with Sony related things at all, so there's not much for me to be mad at.

In that sense, I don't need a lot of saving, right?

Don't even bother dude. Other people (Myself included) have said the same type of things and it hasn't worked yet. Inazuma does not listen to reason.
