Aren't you clever. Need some help patting yourself on the back for coming up with that one?

Actually, it looks like Sony may be slowly bringing up the servers. Someone on NeoGAF received an email requesting him to change his password. He did so, but was unable to visit the link again (page cannot be found). So he tried signing into PSN from his Playstation 3. He received a message asking to update the firmware. When he selected yes it told him he was updated to the latest version and dropped him back to the XMB.

I was just messing with you. I thought you were being sarcastic, but it appears you were completely serious. :(

Oh ok. Yeah, I am completely serious. I view Sony as a bad influence on the video game industry and gamers in general, so I am happy in the fact that PSN is currently down.

Wait, you're the one saying it'd be awesome if PSN stayed down so people couldn't enjoy games the way they want to, but wipeout's the ass?

Long story short, what is bad for Sony is good for gamers. Sorry, I don't feel like explaining it in great detail right now. It's important to step back and look at the big picture sometimes. This is not just about you being unable to purchase overpriced DLC bullshit or being unable to download system updates that remove more features. Sony is a horrible company that doesn't give a shit about actually making fun games or quality products. They also don't give a shit about you and me. They are a very poorly run video game company and have had a strong negative impact on the video game industry overall.

No offense, but most of what you said doesn't really matter to me at all. Me and my friends weren't planning to buy anything off PSN, all we wanted was the play games together afterschool. Whether it's playing some fighting games, or me being dragged into a game like Black Ops, it was a good way to relieve some stress afterschool.

Nobody was able to play with one another after PSN went offline, and then I see somebody again saying they're glad people can't enjoy games with one another. It just ticks me off, I mean, don't think of the big company, the players and consumers matter more, and to me, it doesn't sound like you care about the consumers much.
