You don't know much about musicals do you?

I'll assume you're just making a joke and leave it at that

I feel like this musical starts out pretty funny and has a few brilliant moments, but in the end it's just a story that leads up to a stupid punchline about cultural misunderstanding. All of the songs are done really well and it cleverly plays up Broadway musical conventions. But I feel like the whole thing is ultimately too crass and mean spirited to really sustain itself. It's at its best when it's displaying the culture clash between mormon missionaries and the third world they proselytize to; or when they rely on Poe's Law to make the jokes for them. It falls apart with unending sarcasm and scrotum jokes though.

Did you watch it somehow or did you just listen to the songs?

Sounds like typical Matt and Trey comedy, smart at times but ultimately brought down by mean spiritedness, crassness and toilet humor

Has anyone heard anything about this going on tour? I really want to see it but can't justify 4 days of travel/costs to do so.
