Are current video games too sexy?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

It's like asking if movies are too sexy. I have never seen a movie that is too sexy, but obviously there are movies that have sex in them for no good reason. A game, or movie, may inject sex for lowest commom denominator appeal, but that doesn't reflect on the industry as a whole, so I cannot find all "video games too sexy", because each has to stand on it's own, not as a representation of all the others.

P.S. Games should be rated exactly like movies (G, PG-13, R), with all retail outlets carrying whatever ratings they do in games as they do in movies. The current ESRB system is fucking insulting.

Thats the best thing about being in the EU. The games have the rating on the back in a tiny box right at the bottom near the barcode. The offensive/violent games get a 15 or 18 bbfc sticker on the front. I don't have a problem with that but it has been getting rather large lately. I think at some point you're gonna buy GTAVI and it's cover is just gonna be a big red round 18 bbfc logo and then GTAVI written in tiny letters in the corner.

I think the current ESRB rating sytem is fine just the way it is with just one exception. Get rid of the ridiculous AO rating. No store will carry AO games anyway so what is the point. I just think society as a whole is messed up. They still think video games are for kids. Silly rabbits, Trix are for kids, not video games. Video game has grown quite a bit but like many ignorant fools out there, it is being stereotyped as something for little kids. Blame Nintendo for that in the past and in the present with its Wii.

Anyway, I think it is the parents that should take some responsibilities for what their children are playing instead of handling their care over to the government or game company and hoping their kids will turn out to be okay. And when something goes wrong, they starting pointing fingers. For once, point the finger on yourself because I got one for you. And it aint the thumb either.

I always thought that the US should have a unified rating system for their media. ESRB is definitely an insult. Seriously, Super Smash Bros. Melee T?

Why don't they just make them naked? What is the point of them still having they're clothes on when they have that little on? People confuse me.
Somebody sell me a model 1 modchip for Saturn. Please.

It's sexier to imagine things than to show them to you. That's why Playboy is better than Penthouse. Or was it b/c of the articles??? I always forget.

Maybe I should just stop playing games then. They always seem sexier before I buy them. Then they're just a let-down.
