I'm all for collecting. But why would you pay that amount when you can get Street Fighter Alpha Anthology (PS2) for that same price or cheaper?noiseredux wrote: Street Fighter Alpha (PS1) $16

Super Joy III in the N64 controller shell are everywhere around here. Flea markets are full of them and I see one at Goodwill or the thrift store pretty often too. Aren't you in Califormia? They should be all over the place there too.Bradtemple87 wrote:Wow that's a new one!

I see that and miniature NES knock off consoles. Also see miniature Wii copy cat consoles, although not recently. All are packed full of NES roms. Amazing that they sometimes would make an appearance at a booth in the malls.Hobie-wan wrote:Super Joy III in the N64 controller shell are everywhere around here. You have to look pretty hard to find that kind of stuff in the east bay area where I'm from.

I got a boxed copy of Gunstar Heroes for the Genny for $7. I made a low bid, walked away for two days, and somehow won. Woot!
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Which is awfully confusing, considering that it doesn't actually take NES cartridges; only Famicom ones.Hobie-wan wrote:Super Joy III in the N64 controller shell are everywhere around here. I also saw a Docs wireless N64 controller at the Goodwill for $5, but with no reciever. What a shame, the analog stick was amazing.

i see these Super Joy things all the time at goodwills around here. i always wondered what the port was for, do NES games have a smaller board or something? i've never actually seen a famicom cart.lisalover1 wrote:Which is awfully confusing, considering that it doesn't actually take NES cartridges; only Famicom ones.Hobie-wan wrote:Super Joy III in the N64 controller shell are everywhere around here. Famicom carts are smaller and us a smaller connector (60 pin) vs. the NES (72 pin), though converter pins are pretty readily found.aaron wrote: i see these Super Joy things all the time at goodwills around here. i always wondered what the port was for, do NES games have a smaller board or something? i've never actually seen a famicom cart.
