Don't forget what today is...

Call your mom today, folks.

EDIT: Folks in North America, that is. As Niode pointed out, driving on the wrong side of the road isn't the only thing the Brits do differently.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I reject how the bourgeois capitalist corporate fascist autocracy forces me to love my mother! Love for parents is wrong, and anyone who disagrees is under the brain-washing effect of the right-wing agenda and its media empire, Faux News!

*ahem*

Sorry, but considering how our holiday threads usually turn out, I figured I'd make the inflammatory statements in the name of humor this time.

Happy Mother's Day, (North American) folks!

It's Mother's Day here too.

Glad to know that Americans have adhered to a sensible date for Mother's Day.

You didn't have the same soundness of reason when choosing your Labor Day. It's May 1st, guys.

Nah, that one's May Day for us, and we don't celebrate it for ideological reasons.
