Yes. They get brand new stuff in there too if you look. A few months ago I picked up 3 pairs of jeans there for cheap, ALL brand new with the original tags still on. Even when it comes to used stuff, it's really not going to be that different than your other clothes after you wash it.

Also I found a Nintendo World Championship 1990 t-shirt in one for 99 cents. How can you even top that?

I've been to this one thrift store that doesn't really get much video games except one time I bought ps1 console with games and I only wanted resident evil 2 game. It did come with a copy of Final Fantasy 7 GH.
There's a gay monopoly? That sounds awesome.

I buy a lot of stuff from Goodwill and have bought plenty of clothes there over the years. Usually tho if I need a dress shirt or dress pants, I get them at Ross or somewhere like that b/c the Goodwills tend to charge the same amount for a used one I can buy for new elsewhere. Also the price on t-shirts has gone way up to the point of it's almost like buying at a "vintage" clothing store. So I usually only buy them when the sticker color is on sale. And since I currently have more clothes than I ever get to wear, I just don't buy a lot of clothes there. Sometimes if I can't find any games and I have time to kill I'll look for vg related shirts, but that rarely happens.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

Yeah I buy some of my clothes at thrift stores. I have actually scored some of my favorite band shirts at thrift stores like Linkin Park, Godsmack, Metallica, and Rise Against just to name a few. I always wash the clothes before I wear them.

I usually get my clothes second-hand but finding games is the best. There have been a lot of boxed NES games at the Goodwill near me lately for $2 a pop. Still waiting for the Saturn motherload...

my wife and i frequently buy shirts, jeans, suits from Goodwill. I've found 2 nice brand new brand name mens suits for a fraction of what they would cost in major department stores. Even Brooks Brothers dress shirts from time to time.

Although i have never found any retro games at any of the three GW's in my area (kinda makes me mad since i read deal after deal, or should i say steal after steal of all kind of retro goodness found at thrift shops) my wife did furnish 95 % our living room with brand new in the box furniture and ottomans and etc from GW. One of them by us always gets in returns from Target and my wife makes out like a bandit!

There is a monopoly for damn near everything:

90% of them are the same game with different locations though. What gets interesting is when you add the stock market or have a variant that is actually different (ej: Beyond Boardwalk and Park Place or the Stock Exchange).

Well I wear retro style clothing I guess so I do occasionally shop at thrift stores. I've found a lot of good games there too. (Final Fantasy 3 for Snes - 3$)

I actually live in a pretty nice part of town so I find awesome dress clothes at Goodwill all of the time. Ive found Ralph Lauren Polos, Kenneth Cole dress pants, Express dress pants and suit jacket.... of these for no more than $5-7 each. Everything is in perfect shape and looks like it just came from the store.

Overall I highly recommend shopping at them, especially the ones in the nicer areas.
