LOL, I had no idea this thread was here. I've been rambling on in the other GH thread. Really excited that this one is coming out. If I didn't already own a physical CIB Guardian Heroes on the Saturn, I wold be selling my PS3 for a 360. No joke.

If the co-op is online, I still might sell my PS3 for a 360. I miss having a game system with a robust (or any) online component.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I would assume the coop is online. XBLA Ikaruga supports online coop and I believe that Silvergun will have online coop.

After the lack of communication (and any form of PSN) from Sony this weekend, I share your sentiment. However, I'm done buying consoles this gen. That includes selling the PS3 and using the cash for a 360. I'm happy for 360 owners - the more people fortunate enough to experience this game the better. I will happily play at a friend's. If the game is released on PS3, great. The gentleman presenting GH HD on the gamespot video from SEGA chose his words carefully when asked if the game would be Xbox only.

Sega of Japan has launched a teaser site for the recently announced Guardian Heroes re-release on Xbox Live Arcade. The game will run for 800 MS points ($10) and will incude several different modes. Guardian Heroes has been rebalanced for the Xbox, though players can choose to play with the original Saturn settings as well. Up to two players can play the story mode online, while the versus mode (which has forty-five selectable characters) will allow up to twelve players online and four players offline.

Check out some new screens in the gallery below. Oh, and about those "remastered" graphics? Sega of America did confirm last week that you can turn them off and opt for the original, pixelated goodness. You can stop hugging your knees and rocking back and forth uncontrollably now.

Buying it as soon as it drops - but arcade sticks sooner. Now all we need is for Battle Block Theater to drop

I started playing Guardian Heroes on an arcade stick about a year ago. I will never go back to pad.

I kinda want one of those mad catz street fighter 4 pads to play this. Since it reminds me of the saturn pad.
