Other hobbies?

I can't say I have too many other hobbies at the moment aside from gaming. I'm big into doing graphic design work, but that's also my job, so I don't know if you could call it a hobby. I guess maybe you could since I do freelance.

I used to be really into music and played bass in a punk/metal band for six years. We toured a lot and got to play some pretty big shows along with doing some of the Warped Tour on the east coast. Unfortunately though, a couple of the guys got married and had kids so you know how that goes. I never got around to trying to start another band, but maybe someday. I'm currently interested in getting into "chip tunes", and doing my own thing with music.

Other than that I just hang with my girl and my buddies, and make it a point to try every new beer I can.

Chiptunes fo sho! I've been trying to learn Renoise to make some breakbeat/chiptunes. What was your band called?

As for myself, I'm a noise musician. I build all of my own instruments, so I have a bit of a hobby in electronics.

I love to read comic books and talk about them.
If I was born 10 years earlier I would have been one of those dude who stand around the comic shop arguing about what character can kick the other's butt... now I just do it on the net.

I also draw, not that well, and use this skill to make a weekly webcomic about a boy who misinterprets an ebay listing and is now stuck in space with a Booger, a Butterfly on Roids, and the Missing Piece of Pac-Man.

I also am a fitness freak, I run or lift everyday... I even have my PS1 hooked up to my treadmill so in the winter months I can play some one handed (reconfigured the buttons) Grandia.

lesse what do I do.

1. I keep fish. I use to have a55 gallon and two 30 gallon tanks of fresh water south American and Malawi cichlids. they lasted for years. I really miss having my Chocolate cichlid. I'm currently down to just two betas right now due to time and space considerations.

2. I shop thrift stores when I have money. In fact thats where i find most of my gaming and clothing. In fact I found Punchout! for the NES brand new a few weeks ago.

3. I clean my computer and run programs that I can play with. Im the family computer tech apparently.

I work out compulsively and train for swimming. I also maintain a swimming blog for another website.

Besides gaming I like to download things illegally just because I can. Often times, I delete the files after I download them without ever opening or using them. Yeah, I'm a badass.

Well my other hobbies include:
1.) Being a redneck.
2.) Arguing with people.
3.) Always winning (If you ain't first your last!)
4.) Playing more video games.

aside from video games my hobbies include:
-running a independent record label and mail order called Rok Lok Records which I have been doing for 10 years now. I have released 31 records and have 5 the will be released before the year is over. Doing the mailorder has turned me into a record collector as I hear all sorts of great music.
-i play guitar and sing in a noisy post punk (i.e unwound, sonic youth, the minutemen) called Yes Sensei
-i record and release lo fi ambient/acoustic music under the name of Stars Are Insane
-i collect and READ comic books. I have ben collecting since I was a kid. there have been some lapses over the years but i always come back to the hobby. my current faves include fables, jack of fables, daredevil, y the last man, savage dragon, astonishing x-men. I am also really into anything that daniel clowes, ted mckeever, sam kieth or scott mccloud does.
-not as much in recent years but i have been known to collect action figures, namely anything star wars, aliens or predator related
