Help me think of slimes.

So I'm toying with pitching an idea for an article to write -- so I'm asking for some community help. Basically, Slimes are iconic because of Dragon Warrior. But outside of DW/DQ, how many games can you think of that stole the Slime character?

I just encountered one in 3D Dot Game Heroes. And I know there's lots more. Help me get famous, guys.

It's not really related, but you might look at the SNES game Smart Ball. I just figure he looks a bit like what you're interested in.

King's Field and most of it's successors have reoccurring slime or slime type enemies. There's the flans in FF of course, but that's incredibly obvious.

PS: 3D Dot Game Heroes is so awesome.

First thing I thought of was Minecraft but those Slimes look nothing like Dragon Quest Slimes.

ok, yeah to clarify -- I'm looking for slimes that straight up look like they're stolen from Dragon Warrior/Quest.

did Puyo Puyo ripoff or reference DQ? I'm not sure when Puyo started?
