I got a record player about 6 months ago and since then I have obviously been buying records. My favorites right now are Cal Tjader "Breeze from the East", Klaatu, Big Star, Django, Bo Hanson (music inspired by Lord of the Rings). I also listen to Rush, Zep, Van Halen, etc. Classically, I'm listening to Bach (mostly keyboard), Chopin, Mozart (piano sonatas), Beethoven (Piano sonatas), Scarlatti.

Devin Townsend - Sumeria, from one of the new albums coming out (Deconstruction).

Youtube quality Finnish radio rip, but hey I'll take whatever I can get. I can't stop listening to it! Got the singer from Gojira doing guest vocals and this crazy wall of sound going on.

I just now noticed that Devin Townsend himself left a comment on that vid (his is the one with like 85 thumbs up).

Orbital playlist on youtube

Have a listen to this:

The gun is good

The penis shoots seeds, and makes new life to poison the Earth with the plague of men.
The gun is good, but the penis is evil.
Your God gave you the gift of the gun...

Ooh nice, I'd heard they were getting back together a while back, then hadn't heard since. Yay new Orbital with awesome silly samples.

Orbital never has 'silly' samples. Now go wash your nipples with soap boy...

Anyways, just listened to Basement Jaxx's Scars album.

What a letdown!... :x

Loved Rooty, even loved Kish Kash, but this... Meh.

Good thing I only paid €2 for it.

By the way, someone kill Yoko Ono for me. For God's sake, shut her up!...

Oh god, what did she do now?

You can bluster all you want about her breaking up the Beatles, but I think her worst move was essentially ruining John's solo career. He could've been so great, and Yoko forced him to do crappy albums with her.
