TF2's "The Replay Update": Who is going to send videos?

So, if you are living under a rock and that rock is not under 2Fort you may have missed the fact that there's a brand new update for TF2 with cool comic included.

What's in the update? It includes a replay editor so you can easily record demos and edit them with the software included in the update.

So what's the point?

The point is, of course, winning one of the "Saxxy Awards" availble in 20 different categories from "Biggest Massacre" award to the "Most Epic Fail"! What can you win? Well, other than virtual fame I don't know, but who cares? It's fun!

I hate this kind of stuff, it has utterly nothing to do with TF2 and if anything I feel it takes away from the game. (ie hats).

TF2 is really kind of a joke in and of itself. So I don't really follow how anyone can take it seriously to start with. I welcome the replays! Quake 3 had replays and a replay editor (though made by the community). It didn't detract from the game in anyway at all.

Quake 3 did not have a achievements and hats, there is a hat you get if your video gets 10,000 hits (and achievements for it getting 100,1000,10,000 on Youtube). So for the next few weeks it will more than likely be people trying to get this stupid shit.

Finally they fix the Alt-Tab support, just the other day I was bitching about its terrible support lol.

It was the only thing in TF2 that was better on the Mac than the PC.

Game still runs like shit, and is stable as a tower of shit on Macs still unfortunately, I wonder if Valve will ever get to optimizing it a little better.

This update is stupid. I want new scout weapons dammit! I'm sick of the FoN and the standard SG
