Yes, I felt guilty playing through KOTOR on the extra-evil path. I ended up giving up towards the end, because I just wasn't having fun.

I agree. Memes gone wild really.
I concur. The weighted companion cube was just silliness, and a joke that some people took way too seriously. Then that became part of the joke. But I think there are a lot of people who didn't get it at all and actually pretend like the game actually made them feel for a crate. It seemed to me that Valve was making fun of the people who overreact to this type of thing, like the cult that grew around caring way too much about Alyx Vance.

I was aware that the companion cube was a joke, but the game was so devoid of human life that I willingly cared for the companion cube when instructed to by GLaDOS. I felt guilty, betrayed, and amused when GLaDOS forced me to destroy it.

I plan to go back and finish it up eventually. I lost interest along the way somewhere in the overworld.

Shin Megami Tensei games also make me feel guilty sometimes, like I'm really going against God or something.
Thanks everyone...

I can't blame you (chapter 11-12 or something?), after like 20-30 hours of linear gameplay it actually felt kind of disorienting or something to me. I remember putting it down for awhile too when I got to that part.

Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 2: the Russian airport stage where you're shooting innocent people throughout the airport. Hands Down.
The sad part about that is I had no idea that's what was going on until I got half way through and then I stopped because I honestly felt horrible and apparently you don't have to actually shoot anyone. You can just walk through but unfortunately the other guys you're walking with are still shooting. I was expecting to be shooting at armed enemies and not controlling some terrorist or whatever that was because they give you a warning about that stage before you begin the campaign mode but I didn't think it was that bad.

I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!
